Healthy diet part II : EXERCISE

Food is one of the way to ensure a healthy diet however, exercise also plays an important part in ensuring good healthcare. People of all ages need to exercise as it would help to burn fats. Aerobic exercise involves increased breathing and elevated heart rate over an extended peroid of time. After about 20minutes of aerobic exercise, body needs to use its stored fats reserves as fuels. Some exercises that would be fun for both adults and children are activities: bicycle
skating/ rollerblading

taekwondo/ karate
basketball/ soccer
tennis/ squash/ batminton
walking [fast]

Anaerobic exercise involves short bursts of exertion followed by periods of rest. Examples of anaerobic exercise include push-ups, stomach crunches, pull ups, and lifting weights.

Senior Citizens would also have to do exercise to reduce heart disease which could probably be reduced if all people participated in mild, regular exercise. Many people felt that it is dangerous to exercise after a certain age. Actually, it is probably more dangerous not to. Older adults in moderation tend to:

look younger

feel better

have more energy

have fewer visits in clinics or hospital

and would be more active
